Construction of extension of Olszewskiego Street in Kielce towards the intersection of Zagnańska and Witosa Streets. The project will improve public transport for residents through the construction of a new section of the road with a traffic circle intersection, construction of a viaduct with sidewalks and bike paths.
The project
GEO-Instruments Polska has designed and executed a comprehensive programme of load testing of deep foundations made in the technology of driven prefabricated piles with cross-section 400x400 mm.
The challenge
Verification of design assumptions for the performed foundation of the viaduct over the railroad line no. 8 within the extension of Olszewskiego street in Kielce.
The solution
We performed 6 static test loads and 6 dynamic test loads. Interpretation of the obtained results of the loads allowed us to perform an analysis of compliance with the ultimate limit state according to PN-83/B-02482, and thus confirm the correctness of the adopted design assumptions.
